Tuesday FOR SALE
2000 15.2 hand QH/Percheron Gelding
Tuesday is a dead solid, useful horse. He trail rides alone or in company, walks, trots, canters in the arena or out with correct leads, jumps up to 2'9" and is working on his lead changes. Been shown as a hunter. He goes english or western, in a snaffle. Good saddle horse for ponying or working other horses off him. He's a chameleon - he'll be what you need him to be. True all-around horse. Ranch on him one day and show him the next. Great feet and absolutely sound. Ties, self-loads, shoes/trims, no vices or issues. Excellent ground manners. He is a kind, sweet, personable horse. SOLID!!!! Lives in a mixed herd fine. See him in South Carolina this winter or on the road with Kathleen in the spring.
FREDERICK FOR SALE
2005 15.3 hand AQHA Thoroughbred/Quarter Horse gelding by Ima Soul Mate out of Stunning Idea
Frederick is Daisy's full brother, raised by the same breeder. He was started by Kathleen during the winter of 2008/2009 and has about 30 rides on him at this point. He is green broke and therefore not for a beginner. He is sound, sweet, smart and personable. He is nicely put together with big, firm feet and a lovely topline. He does have some superficial scarring on a hind leg from a wire cut but it is a minor blemish and does not affect his soundness. He will make up into a nice trail horse, all around horse, or english/western show horse. His sire was an AQHA Reserve World Champion Jumper and his full sister jumps, so he may jump as well. He is located in Camden, South Carolina. $3500. e-mail Kathleen
DAISY 2004 16.1 hand AQHA Thoroughbred/Quarter Horse mare by Ima Soul Mate out of Stunning Idea
Daisy joined the team in 2007 as an unstarted three-year-old. Daisy works summers as a clinic horse with Kathleen and spends her winters fox hunting and showing in the hunter divisions. Daisy has been confirmed by AQHA geneticists to be a brindle horse, meaning that she has vertical black tiger stripes in her brown coat.
Clint 1994 16.2 hand Hanoverian/Paint cross gelding
Clint is on loan to Kathleen for the 2009 clinic season. Clint was born into Kathleen's friend Jim Wooldridge's arms 15 years ago, and he's served Jim well as a clinic horse, foxhunter, steeplechase outriding horse, and general using horse.
Cruz 1999 16.1 hand Thoroughbred Gelding by Dumaani (Danzig) out of Rachel Elizabeth (Cryptoclearance)
Cruz joined the herd as a project horse in the fall of 2008. He is an Off-the-track-Thoroughbred (a stakes winner) with lots of trail miles and a very quiet mind. He had his debut as a clinic horse in the fall of 2009 and will
hunt and spend time
getting comfortable jumping this winter.
RUBY 1997 16.3 hand KWPN Dutch Warmblood mare by Zep out of Gaya
Kathleen bought Ruby in 2005 as a project horse. Ruby showed with Kathleen successfully in the hunters and also traveled as a clinic horse. Ruby has been semi-retired to broodmare duty. Her first foal arrived in June of 2009.
Henry July 12, 2009 APHA/Dutch Warmblood Colt by Spooks Tru Legacy out of Ruby
This guy is Ruby's first baby. He is going to be huge, as his daddy is 16.1 and his mom is 16.3. He should make up to be a great all-around sporthorse with size and a quiet disposition. Photos by Kristin Carter.
ASHCROFT 1990-2006 Ashcroft is the horse who introduced Kathleen to Mark Rashid in 1996. Ashcroft was a successful show hunter and jumper, in addition to traveling the nation as one of Kathleen's clinic horses. Ashcroft passed away on November 15, 2006 due to injuries resulting from a pasture accident.
