2000 15.2 hand Arabian/Paint mare
by Tin Heathen out of BB Sawda Shabha
Izzi came to me in November of 2009 as a winter riding horse/resale project. Izzi came from the midwest, where she did lots of trail riding in the Dakotas and Minnesota. She's seen just about any kind of terrain a trail horse could see, from the mountains and rocks of the Badlands to the trees and sand of South Carolina. She is a sweet and friendly mare who enjoys working. She has a quiet, consistent mind but has plenty of "go" under saddle. This makes her a really fun ride for someone who likes to go, and not terribly suitable for someone who is a timid rider or a rider who wants to mosey along slowly. She has smooth, rideable movement, is a cute, flat-kneed mover, leads well, ties great, trims great and has beautiful hard feet. She loads like a dream. Izzi would be suited to trail riding, endurance, competitive trail riding, lower level dressage and general riding horse duties. I've never had her on cows, but I bet she'd take to that too. Izzi is a beautiful brown/black and white paint with one blue eye and black skin around both eyes and most of her nose. She is registered Half-Arab. If you are interested in her, please e-mail Kathleen.
